여수의 한 주택서 화재…남성 추정 시신 1구 발견돼

전남광주통합특별시 여수시의 한 주택에서 화재가 발생했다. 불이 난 집에서는 남성으로 추정되는 1명이 숨진 채 발견됐다.11일 소방 당국에 따르면 전날 오후 10시 58분경 발생한 화재는 1시간 43분 만인 11일 0시 41분경 완전히 진화됐다.이 불로 주택은 완전히 전소됐다. 화재 현장에서는 시신 1구가 나왔다. 소방당국은 유전자 감식 등을 통해 사망자의 정확한 신원을 확인하는 한편 화재 원인과 피해 규모를 조사하고 있다.

김승원 법무부 장관 후보자의 ‘코로나19 신약 임상시험 승인 청탁’ 의혹에 연루된 신약 개발업체 대표 강모 씨의 구속영장을 기각한 판사의 아들이 김 후보자 의원실에서 근무한 것으로 나타났다. 10일 김 후보자 인사청문회 준비단 등에 따르면 서울중앙지법 정모 부장판사의 아들은 2024년 김 후보자의 의원실에서 입법 보조원으로 근무했다. 입법 보조원은 국회의원의 의정 활동과 입법 활동을 돕는 역할을 한다. 김 후보자와 정 부장판사는 서울대 법대 선후배 사이로 2002년 전주지법에서 배석판사로 같이 일했다. 이에 대해 준비단은 “김 후보자와 정 부장판사가 만난 자리에서 정 부장판사로부터 자신의 아들이 국회 입법 활동을 경험할 수 있는 제도가 있는지 문의가 있어 관련 제도를 안내하게 됐고, 정 판사의 아들이 2024년 중반 의원실에 연락해 지원했다”며 “보좌관 등의 면접을 거쳐 실력이 확인돼 선발했다”고 밝혔다. 이어 “이후 실제 출근해 근무했고, 근무 기간에 따른 실비 성격으로 월 1

고려대안암병원, 상급병원 첫 정신건강 학교 열어

정신건강 문제로 입원한 학생을 위한 병원학교가 국내 상급종합병원에 처음 문을 열었다. 고려대안암병원은 이달 3일부터 정신건강 질환으로 입원한 학생을 위한 병원학교인 ‘다숨교실’을 개교해 운영 중이라고 10일 밝혔다. 기존 병원학교가 주로 암이나 만성 신체질환으로 입원한 학생을 대상으로 운영되는 것과 달리, 다숨교실은 정신건강 치료를 받는 학생을 지원한다. 다숨교실에선 학습 지원뿐 아니라 환자들이 퇴원 후 학교에 적응할 수 있도록 의료사회복지사의 도움도 받을 수 있다. 학생 보호자를 위한 심리 상담도 제공한다. 병원 측은 서울시교육청의 상담 및 치료비 연계 사업과도 연계해 입원한 학생의 치료비 부담을 줄여 나갈 계획이다. 병원 운영은 한화손해보험이 후원한다.
