Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg is all in on AI as the new social media, and he's previously described a vision of how users could use AI to make interactive experiences and share them with people. 기후장관 “광주 팹 전력 수요 늘땐 신규원전 검토”

김성환 기후에너지환경부 장관이 2일 광주전남 반도체 클러스터 조성과 관련해 반도체 공장(팹)을 더 지어 전력 수요가 늘면 신규 원전 건설을 검토할 수 있다고 밝혔다. 또 ‘탈원전’이 이재명 정부의 에너지 정책은 아니라고 선을 그었다. 김 장관은 2일 본보와의 통화에서 “반도체 클러스터 용량이 (계획보다) 추가로 지어진다고 하면 현재로서는 (전력을) 감당하기 어려운 측면이 있을 수 있다”며 “추가적인 원전 건설을 검토해 볼 수 있다”고 밝혔다. 제11차 전력수급기본계획(전기본)에 따라 지난달 신규 원전 2기와 소형모듈원전(SMR) 1기의 입지가 선정된 데 이어 추가 원전 건설도 가능하다는 것이다. 다만 김 장관은 “한빛 원전 6기 등을 통해 현재 호남에서 생산되는 전기는 다 쓰지 못하고 수도권으로 보내고 있는 상황”이라며 “(기업들이 광주 반도체 클러스터에 필요하다고 했던) 6.3GW(기가와트)는 현재 전력원에서 추가로 조금만 보충하면 채울 수 있는 양”이라고 했다. 김 장관은
